The Raiders (3-0) face the Chargers (2-1) on “Monday Night Football” at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The game will be broadcasted by ESPN. 

Las Vegas made NFL history in its first three games, becoming the first team to earn a 3-0 record by defeating squads that all won 10 or more games the previous year, according to CBS. Quarterback Derek Carr led the league through three weeks with 1,203 passing yards, and he has also thrown for six touchdowns against two interceptions. 

As of Sunday afternoon, the Raiders’ defense ranks 15th in the NFL by allowing 24.0 points per game. 

Los Angeles is coming off a 30-24 win at Kansas City on Sept. 26. Reigning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Justin Herbert has thrown for 956 yards, six touchdowns and three interceptions, while the Chargers’ defense ranks seventh in the league (20.0 points per game). 

This will be the 124th meeting between the Raiders and the Chargers. Las Vegas leads the all-time series, 66-55-2, though Los Angeles has won five of the last eight games.

9:37 p.m.: The Raiders went seven yards on their first series of the second quarter and turned the football over after an unsuccessful fourth-and-3 attempt. 

First quarter: Los Angeles 7, Las Vegas 0 

The Chargers have a 7-0 lead after the first quarter. Herbert has completed 7-of-10 passes for 52 yards and a touchdown, while Carr has completed 3-of-5 passes for 19 yards. The Raiders do not have a first down and had zero yards. 

9:23 p.m.: On fourth-and-12, Los Angeles attempted a fake punt but Raiders receiver Hunter Renfrow — the designated punt returner — broke up a pass intended for Chargers receiver Tevaughn Campbell. Las Vegas will take over at its 41-yard line. 

9:11 p.m.: Los Angeles went three-and-out on its second drive, as did the Raiders. Chargers linebacker Joey Bosa forced a fumble on third-and-6, backing Las Vegas up for a 45-yard punt from its 15-yard line. The Chargers will take over at their 40-yard line, leading 7-0 with 4:06 left in the first quarter. 

9:08 p.m.: Las Vegas went three-and-out on its first drive. Running back Josh Jacobs had two carries for three yards, and Carr threw an incomplete pass. AJ Cole punted 54 yards to Los Angeles’ 13-yard line. 

8:59 p.m.: TOUCHDOWN CHARGERS. Herbert threw a 4-yard pass to receiver Donald Parham Jr. for the first score of the game. Los Angeles went on a 12-play, 75-yard drive and leads 7-0 with 8:01 left in the first quarter. 

8:56 p.m.: Chargers running back Austin Ekeler left the game following an 18-yard rush in the first quarter. 

8:50 p.m.: The Raiders won the toss and deferred to the second half. 

8:21 p.m.: Las Vegas and Los Angeles is currently delayed due to lightning. It is now scheduled to start at 8:55 p.m. ET.
